Speaking Life: Tired and Weary No More

Speaking Life: Tired and Weary No More

Since writing my post “Insight: Tired and Weary No More” a couple of months ago, I feel like I’ve been bombarded with new and creative reasons to become even more tired and weary.  Isn’t it amazing how attacks happen like that following a great revelation on something in your life?  For my own benefit, and hopefully yours too, I’ve put together some of my favorite scriptures on this subject of defeating weariness, and I’ve changed them slightly so that they’re now personal confessions you can use to speak life to your body, soul and spirit.

Please enjoy reading these (I like to read them aloud) and standing on God’s promises for your life!  I pray you’ll feel better after reading them and encountering our Lord.

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me!  I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me.  I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.

Philippians 4:13 (AMP)

I am well balanced (temperate, sober of mind)!  I am vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of ours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring in fierce hunger, seeking someone to seize upon and devour.  I declare that “someone” will NOT be me!

I withstand him because I am firm in faith – rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined. I know that I am not alone because that the same, identical, sufferings are appointed to our brotherhood, the whole body of Christians, throughout the world.

1 Peter 5:8-9 (AMP)

He has granted me, out of the rich treasury of His glory, to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man, by the Holy Spirit Himself, indwelling your innermost being and personality.

Ephesians 3:16 (AMP)

He gives power to me, even when I feel faint and weary, and when I have no might, He increases my strength, causing it to multiply and making it to abound!

Isaiah 40:29 (AMP)

I wait for the Lord, in other words, I expect, look for, and hope in Him!  Therefore, I shall change and renew my strength and power.  I shall lift up wings and mount up close to God, as eagles mount up to the sun.  I shall run and not be weary, I shall walk and not faint or become tired.

Isaiah 40:31 (AMP)

And the Lord shall guide me continually and satisfy me in drought and in dry places and make strong my bones. And I shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.

My ancient ruins shall be rebuilt. I will raise up the foundations of buildings that have laid waste for many generations; and I shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

Isaiah 58:11-12 (AMP)

Lord, Your grace (favor, loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for me!  It is sufficient against any danger and enables me to bear all trouble fearlessly. God’s strength and power are made perfect, fulfilled and completed, and show themselves most effective in my weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ, the Messiah, may rest, yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell upon me!

2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP)

I will not become discouraged, exhausted, and wearied out through fear. Though my body is wasting away, my inner self is being progressively renewed day after day.

For this light, momentary affliction, this slight distress of the passing hour, is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for me an everlasting weight of glory beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!

Since I consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal, brief and fleeting, but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (AMP)

Ephesians 3.19

I will really come to know You, practically, through experience for myself, the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience; that I may be filled, through all my being, unto all the fullness of God – the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!

Ephesians 3:19 (AMP)
