Except for our kitchen scale, silicone bakeware are the most used items in our kitchen. I highly recommend getting these if you’ve chosen, like we have, to go low carb, sugar free and gluten free. Many of the recipes we now make can be very sticky and hard to work with if you don’t have these items.
Why we love silicone bakeware:
- Non-stick removal
- Dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer safe
- Easy cleanup
A couple of words of caution:
- Check the high temperature listed by the manufacturer (some silicone molds are not meant for baking)
- Do not use sharp objects on the silicone or you can easily put holes or cuts in them (I unfortunately learned this one the hard way)

There are also some great sets out there that include 8×8 or 9×9 squares, 8 or 9 inch rounds, muffin pans, etc., so be on the lookout for a good deal on those as well.
